Incident Summary:

04/14/2004: Unidentified militants threw a grenade from the top of a roadside bridge into a crowded market in Guwahati, India. The explosion injured four policemen and two civilians who were rushed to the hospital. There was no claim of responsibility for the act and police did not arrest anyone. The incident came just days before an election and during the Assamese New Year.
