04/15/2004: A police convoy was ambushed by Taliban militants, using AK-47's and machine guns. Police Chief Yar Mohammed was being escorted to his hometown by at least nine other soldiers at the time of the attack. All of the soldiers and the police chief were killed, along with one Taliban militant.
