Incident Summary:

06/04/2004: Forty heavily armed men attacked a convoy of six vehicles escorted by armed professional guards of the British company DC Vans, near the town of An-Nasiriya in Iraq. The guards of the convoy repelled the attack, but Bulgarian driver Mario Dimitrov Manchev was killed. None of the remaining passengers were injured.
