07/17/2004: A suicide car bomber belonging to the Tawhid and Jihad group attacked the Iraqi National Guard headquarters in Mahmudiyah. The attack left one National Guard member killed and more than 50 others wounded. The attack was claimed by the Tawhid and Jihad group via a website posting.
