Incident Summary:

08/03/2004: Police chief Colonel Moyad Bashar al-Shamari was killed and two other policemen were injured when their car hit a roadside bomb near the Abu Jafaar al-Mansour square in central Baghdad. The police officers were on their way to work at the Marmoun police station at the time. There is no claim of responsibility, and it was unknown who perpetrated the bombing.
