Incident Summary:

08/03/2004: An improvised explosive device blasted a pipeline belonging to the state-owned Northern Oil Company pipeline just west of Kirkuk, resulting in massive fires and damage to the main pipeline which connected the northern fields of Kirkuk to the Turkish port of Ceyhan. There was no claim of responsibility, and it was unknown who perpetrated the attack. There were no casualties.
