08/03/2004: Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) rebels torched a government-owned passenger bus along the Mahendra highway in Kotihawa, Rupandelhi district, after evacuating its passengers. The bus was en route to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa. While the bus was completely destroyed, there were no casualties.
