Incident Summary:

9/16/2004: Members of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC) remotely detonated two roadside bombs targeting Algerian soldiers and militiamen on a search operation in Oued Jeddi, Algeria. Five soldiers were killed and three militiamen were injured. The blast ripped a hole though the soldier's vehicle as well.
