Incident Summary:

10/10/2004: A car suicide bomb exploded near Iraq’s Oil Ministry in Baghdad. The blast, one of three related attacks, killed at least 17 people. The blast, which left a large crater near the Oil Ministry’s building, was thought to be related to a visit by U.S. Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
