10/27/2004: Shosei Koda, a 24-year-old Japanese traveler, was kidnapped and subsequently murdered by militants associated with former Jama'at al-Tawhid wa al-Jihad (JTJ) chief Abu Mus'ab al-Zarqawi. Koda's body was found in Baghdad.
