11/01/2004: Islamic militants shot three Thai traders at a market in Choi-ai-Rong, in the southern province of Narathiwat, Thailand. The attackers left leaflets saying the attacks were in retaliation for the deaths of dozens of Muslims in Thai police custody the week before.
