01/10/2005: Members of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi’s group, al-Tawhid wa al-Jihad, claimed responsibility for the assassination of Deputy Police Chief Amer Naief and his son who was also a policeman. Naief and his son were gunned down as they left their home in Baghdad’s Dora neighborhood.
