Incident Summary:

01/24/2005: Darfur rebel fighters attacked the town of Al Malam in Sudan’s Darfur region killing 22 people and injuring 26 others. The attackers raided the area using 12 all-terrain Land Cruisers and six trucks. The perpetrators set fire to two villages in the area as well. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
