Incident Summary:

03/01/2005: Approximately 30 Chechen militants attacked a police station in the Chechen village of Sernovodskaya, killing one officer and injuring 19 others. The attackers used guns and grenade launchers after cutting electric and phone lines to the village. Five attackers were killed and three more were subsequently captured. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
