Incident Summary:

03/07/2005: Members of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi’s group, al-Tawhid wa al-Jihad, attacked Iraqi soldiers and police in the town of Baqubah. The perpetrators used mortars, land mines and one suicide bomb in their attack. Zarqawi claimed responsibility for the coordinated strike.
