Incident Summary:

04/05/2005: Suspected Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) rebels opened fire on a navy patrol boat in Upparu, near the Trincomalee port, Sri Lanka. One member of the monitoring team was injured in the attack. The attack is considered to be a serious violation of the truce agreement.
