Incident Summary:

04/28/2005: Murgesu Wardharaja (46), Provincial Council Vice Chairman and representative of the Eelam People's Revolutionary Liberation Front (EPRLF), was shot and killed in the evening by a pistol gang believed to be Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) while returning from his tsunami-ravaged home in Kallady, Sri Lanka. Two men suspected of perpetrating the incident were later arrested.
