Incident Summary:

5/28/2005: Unknown perpetrators, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic insurgency in Algeria, attacked a Municipal Guard barracks in Khemis Miliana, Algeria. Three Municipal Guardsmen were killed in the assault and two others were kidnapped. Moreover, the assailants stole weapons from the Municipal Guardsmen. The fate of the kidnapped victims remains unknown.
