Incident Summary:

6/7/2005: A transport truck, carrying nineteen municipal guardsmen headed to reinforce a search operation, was split in two by a bomb blast on a path in Ain Rich, Algeria. Thirteen municipal guardsmen were killed and six others were wounded. Members of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC) are believed to be responsible for planting the bomb.
