06/09/2005: The Trans-Andean oil pipeline, near Orito, Colombia, was bombed which caused a spill of at least 1,000 barrels of crude oil. It contaminated the water supply of nearby towns and leaving them without usable water for at least 20 days. FARC was responsible for the attack.
