Incident Summary:

6/22/2005: A homemade bomb detonated underneath a car on wilaya road number 7 as the vehicle passed through Beni Ghasdoune, Algeria. One passenger was killed and two were injured. It is believed that the bomb was planted by members of Algeria's Islamic insurgency; however, it is unknown if the victims of the explosion were their intended targets.
