Incident Summary:

06/22/2005: A suspected member of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) shot and wounded a police officer in Batticaloa town, Sri Lanka. The officer approached the suspected Tamil Tiger when he noticed the man acting suspiciously. After wounding the officer, the attacker fled on a bicycle.
