07/12/2005: A car bomb hit the motorcade of Lebanon’s outgoing deputy prime minister, Elias Murr, in a failed assassination attempt in Naqash, Lebanon. Murr was injured in the blast that killed at least one person, injured 12 others, and damaged several vehicles in the motorcade. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
