Incident Summary:

09/18/2005: Suspected Taliban members fired three rockets at a military base belonging to Pakistan’s military in North Waziristan, Pakistan. Pakistani authorities believed that the rockets had been fired at the base from locations in Afghanistan near the border with Pakistan. The rockets missed the military facility, instead striking a nearby plant nursery. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
