Incident Summary:

09/19/2005: An unidentified suicide car bomber targeted a U.S. diplomatic convoy in Mosul, Iraq. The bomber drove his vehicle into the second of three armored SUV’s killing U.S. State Department official, Stephen Eric Sullivan, and three U.S. contractors. Two other people were injured in the blast as well. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
