Incident Summary:

9/22/2005: Members of the Ibad Errhaman Brigade, a faction of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC), detonated a bomb as a military convoy passed through a road in El Mikail, Algeria. Following the explosion, the assailants fired at the envoy. Seven Algerian soldiers along with one civilian driver were killed in the attack and four soldiers were wounded.
