10/30/2005: Suspected Islamic militants attacked Takienthong temple in Thailand’s Pattani Province. The perpetrators fired guns at the temple and set fire to a monk’s living quarters located on the grounds. They also set fire to several nearby cars. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
