Incident Summary:

11/14/2005: Members of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC) placed a large homemade bomb that would have been remotely detonated when the convoy carrying Djamel Ould Abbes, the Minister of Employment and National Solidarity, past over the device placed on road in Boumerdès, Algeria. However, Algerian authorities discovered and subsequently defused the explosive device.
