01/22/2006: An Afghan boy and four Afghan men, some of them employees of a U.S. security firm, were briefly kidnapped by Taliban members in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province, but were freed the same day amid a gun battle between the perpetrators and the police. No casualties were reported.
