1/27/2006: Armed members of El Feth Katibat, a group affiliated with the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC), travelling in a van entered into Ammal, Algeria, intending to commit an attack, however the assailants fled after they were identified by a local villager who called the attention of a National Gendarmerie brigade.
