01/29/2006:Unknown perpetrators detonated a car bomb outside an Orthodox Christian church in Kirkuk, Iraq, killing one and injuring an unknown number of others. The church itself was not seriously damaged. This incident may have been related to recent uproar in the Muslim world about Danish cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed.
