01/29/2006: In a series of related incidents, a guesthouse housing journalists was robbed and the journalists there threatened by rebels with unspecified weapons in Rutshuru, Democratic Republic of Congo. The rebels were believed to be the troops of Laurent Nkunda. There were no reported casualties and no claim of responsibility for the attack.
