Incident Summary:

02/02/2006: Three bombs exploded in gambling halls in Vladikavkaz, Russia, killing a man and a woman and injuring 16 to 25 others. The prosecutor said that he suspected terrorism, but local law enforcement agencies would not rule out a criminal attack. The blasts occurred as the Interior Ministry was inspecting clubs and casinos and had already closed down many of them. Following the attack, all gambling halls were ordered to be closed.
