Incident Summary:

02/03/2006: Taliban members attacked the headquarters of the Musa Qala (District) of Helmand Province, Afghanistan, killing the district chief Abdul Qodus and at least one of his police bodyguards. The rebels then killed another policeman in Nawzad (District). The rebels were fleeing an earlier battle against Afghan police in Sangin (District).
