02/03/2006: Taliban members ambushed the convoy of Helmand Province's Deputy Governor, Mullah Mir, in Sangin, Afghanistan. At least 16 Taliban members and three Afghan police were killed and more than ten Taliban and 13 police were injured in the ensuing battle.
