Incident Summary:

02/03/2006: A local Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader was seriously injured in Amanatpur village of the Khulna Division after three bombs were hurled at him. After the attack, a man claiming to be an organizer for the Al-Qaida network in the Khulna Division claimed responsibility for the attack, as well as another attack that occurred on the same day in which two bombs were hurled at Rashid Agrofood, a rice mill owned by a BNP leader.
