Incident Summary:

02/23/2006: Suspected Muslim militants opened fire on a member of the Pak Lao tambon administrative organization, Somboon Putdokkhao, 42, and his wife Rassameemarn Putdokkhao, 39, as they were riding a motorcycle to their plantation in Khok Pho district, Pattani province, Thailand, killing the wife and seriously injuring the husband. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
