3/1/2006: Suspected members of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC) placed two homemade bombs on a road near Assouaf, Algeria, where a military envoy of Algerian soldiers routinely drove through. The explosive devices were located by Algerian security forces and subsequently disarmed.
