05/01/2006: The body of a pro-governmental tribal elder was found in Dharaki, North Waziristan, Pakistan three days after he had been kidnapped by an unknown number of unidentified perpetrators. The man had been had been shot once near the heart. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Taliban was believed to be responsible.
