Incident Summary:

05/07/2006: Seven policemen and four civilians were injured when a hand grenade was thrown by a cyclist aiming at the police officers around 7:30pm near the Batticaloa Police Station, Sri Lanka. The attacker was on a bicycle, threw the grenade, and then escape on the bike. The policemen and civilians received minor injuries in the attack.
