05/18/2006: In one of two rocket attacks against Israel (200605180006), Saraya al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, claimed to have fired seven home-made rockets on Al-Majdal and Ashqelon, both in southern Israel. There were no reports of casualties, injuries, or material damage. The group claimed that this attack was in response to ‘the occupation’s continuing crimes against the Palestinian people.’

Criteria 1
