Incident Summary:

05/29/2006: Perpetrators attacked workers on an irrigation construction site in Welikanda, North Central Province, Sri Lanka. They tied victims together, killed 12 men execution-style, and wounded two others. No claim of responsibility was reported but it was believed that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) was responsible.
