Incident Summary:

06/18/2006: A sergeant and two constables died when an anti-personnel claymore mine exploded near their water transport vehicle in the Vavuniya district of Sri Lanka on Kebethigollewa Rd. It is suspected the LTTE triggered the blast via a remote controlled mine they had placed on the road that targeted the water-tanker. It was attempting to deliver drinking water to the Vavuniya police station.
