Incident Summary:

10/26/2006: Three members of a political group that broke away from the Tamil Tigers (LTTE) were killed in an ambush attack while they and members of their cadre were sleeping in and around the premises of an Indian Temple in the city of Batticaloa, in the eastern province of Sri Lanka. Eight other people were critically injured. No claim of responsibility has been reported.
