Incident Summary:

10/28/2006: 14 Afghan civilians were killed when their pickup truck, en route to holiday celebrations, struck a landmine in the Oruzgan province of Afghanistan. It was unclear whether the mine had been recently laid by militants or, as the Taliban claimed, was an old mine. There has been no claim of responsibility for this event.
