Incident Summary:

11/01/2006: Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) rebels detonated a claymore mine near Vavuniya town, Sri Lanka. The rebels were targeting a Sri Lankan Army check-point located on Goodshed Road, one kilometer outside of Vavuniya. One civilian died, and at least one homeguard and one soldier were wounded in the attack.
