12/02/2006: Four road construction workers were abducted and killed in Konar Province (eastern Afghanistan) by Afghan insurgents. Their bodies were discovered on December 2, 2008. The insurgents allegedly killed the workers on charges of spying for the Americans. No claim of responsibility was reported.
