Incident Summary:

12/15/2006: Two persons were killed and nine wounded when a car bomb exploded near an Iraqi army patrol at Nafaq Al Shurtah in western Baghdad, Iraq. The Iraqi Interior Ministry said the car bomb was parked on the road before the arrival of the patrol, killing a policeman and a passer-by. According to the police, four of the wounded are police officers. No claim of responsibility was reported.
