Incident Summary:

01/10/2007: Days before the Association of Southeast Asian Nation and East Asian summits (ASEAN) on the island of Mindanao, Philippines, the third of a series of three bombs exploded in Cotabato city, killing a garbage collector and wounding five others. The bomb was an improvised explosive device made from an 81 mm mortar. Terrorist groups Abu Sayyaf group and Jemaah Islamiyah are suspected in this attack due to design of the bomb.
