01/23/2007: A roadside bomb exploded under an army vehicle in an eastern region of Jijel, Algeria. One soldier was killed and eight others were wounded as the soldiers were leaving their quarters. Algerian authorities blamed the attack on the Salafist Group of Call and Combat.
